Telecare services

Telecare uses a range of sensors, matched to your individual needs to assist you to live at home, if you are vulnerable and need support.

The sensors can be linked to a lifeline (a kind of telephone) that is used to summon help if required.

lifelineTelecare services can make a valuable contribution to independence for people living in their own home. In the Craven area, Yorkshire Housing,  working in partnership with North Yorkshire County Council social services, accepts referrals on behalf of its own, private tenants and also owner-occupiers. 

Yorkshire Housing will assess applicants and the Telecare equipment is installed by their Craven Home Improvement Agency.  The client then also benefits from Yorkshire Housing's excellent warden support service and 24 hour monitoring.
