Leisure Attendant

To cover Lifeguard shifts as and when required in line with the operational demands of Craven Swimming Pool. This will be on a rotation basis (weekly rota) and will include evenings and weekends. Closing date: 1st July 2018

Full time - 37 hours per week

Salary: £17,007 - £17,391 per annum

Do you think you have what it takes to become a Lifeguard? We are looking to recruit people who are passionate about leisure and want to help people. You do not need to be a qualified Lifeguard to apply but the successful candidate will have to demonstrate they are capable of passing the course and it will be necessary to meet the required swimming standard as part of the interview process.

Successful candidates will be booked in for the new Lifeguard course.

Qualified applicants will need to hold the National Pool Lifeguard Qualification or equivalent.

In every case you will be expected to take pride in your work and constantly strive to attain a high level of excellence and to play an active part in delivering the high standards set at Craven Swimming Pool.

You will be responsible for the safety of pool users, responding to emergencies and taking appropriate lifesaving action as required.

This post carries an inclusive pay rate for weekend, early mornings, evenings and shift working as appropriate.

Uniform will be provided.

This post is subject to Clearance from the Disclosure and Barring Service.
