NOTICE OF MAKING OF A PUBLIC PATH DIVERSION ORDER

DIVERSION ORDER 2020
The Authority gives notice that it has made an order on 11th March 2020 under Section 257 of the Town & Country Planning Act 1990 because it is satisfied that it is necessary to divert the public footpath described below to enable development described in the Schedule to be carried out in accordance with the planning permission granted under reference 2018/19646/FUL.
Footpath no.05.14/13 running generally in a southerly direction from Grid Reference 396667 443748 through the curtilage of Gill Bottom to Shop Lane Grid Reference 396677 443700 will be diverted onto a new route from a pedestrian gate at Grid Reference 396667 443748 in a south easterly direction through trees to an opening in the wall at Grid Reference 396717 443708 and junction with Shop Lane. The new route will be 1.5 metres wide throughout on a mix of natural and crushed stone surface.
A copy of the Order and the Order map have been placed and may be inspected free of charge during normal office hours at Craven District Council Offices, 1 Belle Vue Square, Broughton Road, Skipton, BD23 1FJ.
Any representations about or objections to the Order may be sent or delivered in writing to Legal Services, Craven District Council, 1 Belle Vue Square, Broughton Road, Skipton, BD23 1FJ not later than 9th April 2020. Please state the grounds on which they are made.
Please note that objections/representations cannot be treated as confidential and may come into the public domain. Copies of any objections or representations received may be disclosed to interested parties, including the Planning Inspectorate if the case is referred to it for determination.
If no such representations or objections are duly made, or if any so made are withdrawn, Craven District Council may confirm the Order as an unopposed Order. If the Order is sent to the Secretary of State for confirmation, any representations and objections which have not been withdrawn will be sent with the Order.
