Consultation on Clapham cum Newby Parish Council's application to designate a neighbourhood area closed on 30th July 2018. Although the consultation is now closed, a copy of the application is still available, below, for reference purposes.
Part of the parish and neighbourhood area is within the Yorkshire Dales National Park, including the majority of Clapham village, and the national park authority is taking the lead in supporting the neighbourhood plan. Following consultation on Clapham cum Newby Parish Council's application to designate a neighbourhood area, which closed on 30th July 2018, the area has now been designated by Craven District Council and the Yorkshire Dales National Park local planning authorities.
