The Council’s statement of community involvement (SCI) sets out how we intend to involve the community and stakeholders throughout the preparation and review of the local plan and during the consideration of planning applications. National planning policy requires the Council to review its SCI every 5 years. The current SCI was adopted in January 2022 and is a revised version of the previous SCI adopted in March 2018.
