Public Footpath Diversion Order

An order has been made to divert part of footpath 05.21/55 under section 257 of the Town and Country Planning Act.

Diversion Order

The Order dated 7th March 2019 was revoked by the Craven District Council (the Authority) on 3rd April 2019.

The Authority gives notice that it has made an order on 4th April 2019 under Section 257 of the Town & Country Planning Act 1990 because it is satisfied that it is necessary to divert the public footpath described below to enable development described in the Schedule to be carried out in accordance with the planning permission granted to Mr & Mrs Fell by the Authority under reference 2018/19695/FUL.

Footpath no. 05.21/55 running generally southwest from GR SD 8128 6327 to GR SD 8123 6312 will be diverted onto a new route from GR SD 8123 6312 via GR SD 8126 4324 to GR SD 8127 6327.  The new route will be 1.5 metres wide throughout on a grass surface.

A copy of the Order and the Order map have been placed and may be inspected free of charge during normal office hours at Craven District Council Offices, 1 Belle Vue Square, Broughton Road, Skipton, BD23 2QN.

Any representations about or objections to the Order may be sent or delivered in writing to Legal Services, Craven District Council, 1 Belle View Square, Broughton Road, Skipton, BD23 1FJ not later than 1st May 2019. Please state the grounds on which they are made.

Please note that objections/representations cannot be treated as confidential and may come into the public domain. Copies of any objections or representations received may be disclosed to interested parties, including the Planning Inspectorate if the case is referred to it for determination.

If no such representations or objections are duly made, or if any so made are withdrawn, Craven District Council may confirm the Order as an unopposed Order.  If the Order is sent to the Secretary of State for the Environment for confirmation, any representations and objections which have not been withdrawn will be sent with the Order.
