We are undertaking some changes to our commercial recycling rounds at the moment. This will result in a collection day change for some of our recycling customers, starting from 13th September 2021. Affected customers have been contacted.
Why are our collection rounds changing?
Since our last review, we now have many recycling customers across the Craven District. Updating our collection rounds means we can better incorporate these, and provide a more efficient service to our customers.
Changing and balancing our collection rounds will:
- reduce our mileage and vehicle emissions, helping to reduce our carbon footprint.
- ensure our collection service operates efficiently and with just the right number of vehicles and staff.
