Commercial waste and recycling

Craven District Council offers a commercial waste collection service for local businesses to dispose of their waste and recycling.

Friday 15 January

Service update

We won't be making any commercial waste collections today (Friday 15 January) due to the hazardous road conditions.

If you are expecting a bin collection today, this will unfortunately not take place. Once it is safe to do so, we will aim to catch up with outstanding collections, weather permitting.

What we can offer

  • A range of containers – ranging from 240L wheelie bins up to 1100L lockable metal containers. We also offer green sacks for businesses producing small amounts of waste or those with limited storage
  • Flexible collection frequencies, including seasonal variations
  • Waste Transfer Note documentation to help you to meet your legal obligations under your Duty of Care
  • Option to pay by monthly direct debit instalments

We understand that every business is different, and our service is tailored to meet your specific requirements. Being local means we know the District like the back of our hand, and therefore we can be flexible and respond quickly to any changes to your contract, such as the size or quantity of bins required.

We can also provide additional or one-off collections on request and provide bins and special collections for local events.
