FREE Training for Landlords & Agents

Now more than ever, landlords need to know the essentials for managing a residential property. Yorkshire and Humber Regional Landlord Training is offering two online training courses for landlords and HMO licence holders FREE of charge.

The Landlord Development foundation course aims to give landlords the confidence to know that they are     managing their tenants and property in a responsible way.  The HMO Licence Holders’ course is similar but pays greater focus to the effective management of houses in multiple occupation.

The training is intended to follow the natural progression of a tenancy from beginning to end and will cover all the main areas a landlord should know. Pre Tenancy

  • Inspecting your Property
  • Setting Up & During a Tenancy
  • Ending a Tenancy
  • HMOs

This training is only available online.  It has been designed in line with the Landlord Handbook written by Accreditation Network UK.  It is presented in 6 modules each       covering a range of aspects that landlords need to be aware of in order to carry out their responsibilities in a professional manner. There will be a series of questions at the end of each module which will count towards their final assessment.  Landlords will be awarded on online certificate which will be recognised by Craven District Council as evidence of having completed a relevant a training course.
