Transformation & Projects Manager

This key role is responsible for the evaluation and delivery of a portfolio of technical and transformational projects, working closely with the business to ensure all business requirements are known and met. Closing date: 2nd June 2019

Salary Scale PO2

£34,788 - £36,876 per annum

You will also be responsible for the Council’s digital services strategy and delivery.

You will need excellent communication skills and proven experience of creating and maintaining customer relationships as well as extensive experience in programme, project and team management.

You will ideally be educated to degree level, though other relevant qualifications plus experience would be acceptable. You will make use of Prince 2 methodology and principles in establishing and monitoring the progress of projects and budgets.  You will also have substantial experience in delivering major technical / change projects to time, budget and quality. You will be able to demonstrate your ability to use Business Process Improvement techniques to deliver efficiencies and your Management skills to embed best practice.

To succeed in this role you must have an understanding of service delivery arrangements in a technical environment. Your ability to interpret and articulate business requirements should be matched by sound technical knowledge.
