Household Support Fund

Find out about the Household Support Fund in North Yorkshire.

The Household Support Fund 

We will be delivering a third phase of the Household Support Fund at the start of 2023, working in partnership with North Yorkshire County Council to support households with significantly rising costs. For this third phase, the eligibility criteria has been updated based on guidance from the Department for Work and Pensions so that we can help people across North Yorkshire who have missed out on other government support.

What other support can I get with the cost of living?

You’ll find information about the support available at www.northyorks.gov.uk/cost-living-support. This includes advice on money, debt, benefit entitlement, free school meals and childcare costs as well as information about free Wi-Fi, digital support, travel and transport. The page also has information about energy saving, foodbanks and community-based support including Warm Welcome Spaces.

The Household Support Fund was set up to help people who are struggling with the increase in living costs and feeling the financial pressure of paying their bills.
