About the Household Support Fund

The Household Support Fund was set up to help people who are struggling with the increase in living costs and feeling the financial pressure of paying their bills.

The Government announced a second phase of the Household Support Fund scheme in March 2022.

People who were eligible as of 31 May 2022 could claim a single Household Support Fund e-voucher payment to pay for food and other essentials over the coming months.

For this second phase of the Household Support Fund, the eligibility criteria was extended so that we can help more people across North Yorkshire including families, working age adults without children and pensioners.

People who met the eligibility criteria needed to claim their Household Support Fund voucher payment by Monday 15 August when the scheme ended.
